In 2025, MET introduced the Boy Empowerment Program to support and guide young men in our community. Boys and young men face challenges such as substance abuse, unemployment, and a lack of direction. While our programs have historically focused on promoting gender equality, we recognise that boys and men also need dedicated support.

The Boy Empowerment Program encourages positive behaviours, builds confidence, and fosters values that promote respectful and constructive participation in society. By engaging boys, we not only support their personal development, but also help them play positive roles in addressing issues such as gender-based violence and inequality.
