Comprehensive Training Programs

FTC offers a variety of training programs designed to address different aspects of modern farming, including:

• Crop Management: focuses on advanced techniques for crop rotation, soil health management, pest control, and irrigation practices;
• Livestock Farming: provides knowledge on animal welfare, health management, feed formulation, disease control, and breeding practices;
• Sustainable Practices: introduces principles of organic farming, agroforestry, and conservation agriculture to promote long-term environmental health;
• Project Management and Market Access: covers agricultural market dynamics, value addition, and strategies for effective marketing;
• Soil Management: teaches the importance of soil quality, soil testing, and methods for maintaining soil fertility;
• Beekeeping: explores apiculture, including hive management, honey production, and the role of bees in pollination and ecosystem health.

Our demonstration farms serve as living laboratories, offering practical insights where farmers can observe and practice innovative farming techniques. Additionally, we have set up five demo agroforestry farms in neighbouring regions, further engaging the community and fostering hands-on learning.
